Bikers!

Hi there, a fabulous Thursday to you all! Today I like to share a layout I created with some photographs from Santorini. It was about our little bike ride around the island by which we explored Santorini, in and out.

For this layout I used mostly patterned paper and a few rubons, stickers and stamps. The banners are by Studio Calico. I love how they added a bit of whimsy on the layout:-)

Using a Die-Namics die, I cut out these little clouds with some pretty Basic Grey paper. I also used some card stock to punch out a postage stamp matting for my photograph and a circle to add the date. The reason I used red as a matting was so that the blue in the photograph would stand out more and I also used some yellows and muted blues to bind it all together and add a bit of colour.

I used a few October Afternoon word stickers to add sub titles around my main title 'Bad ass quad bikers'. The yellow really stands out against the blue Pink Paislee patterned paper.

This tag is home made with some My minds eye paper and a Fancy pants rubons, I nestled it over a cute Crate paper sticker for some added intrest:-)

I completed this layout with a bit of twine and journaling.

Thank you for dropping by today, and have a wonderful weekend:-)

My first doodled layout!

Hello lovely blog friends!

Thank you for dropping by:-) Today I want to share with you the final layout of my puppy I created with the doodled accent I shared with you in one of my older posts. As you can see I added another doodle of vines on the right side of my layout as well to balance it out.

I did most of the colouring with my trusty Copics, and some with my Faber Castell markers. (this butterfly stamp is my favorite Hero arts butterfly wood block stamp, I doodled around it:-) )
I wanted my layout to have lots of colour to make it look playful and suitable to portray a puppy. I also used lots of fun accents as well as paint splatters here and there.

I love these sunny foam alpha stickers, they are by Pink Paislee and come in several colours. Needless to say, the yellow ones have been used the most:-) I love combining several different alphas to create a easy going layout.

The stamped 'pet statistics' journal spot is from a Unity stamps mini stamp. I picked it specially for this layout:-) I also used a piece of a punched out picket fence I had leftover from a previous project. Love how it adds a homely feel... ( the chipboard house too was used for the same reason)

This cute vintage button is something I picked up at Made with Love Singapore. I love shopping there.. I feel so happy spending hours and hours browsing through the aisles! he he
The transparency too is something I picked up in Singapore from a discount bin:-)

As you can see the layout is full of little bits and pieces. I tend to save up even the tiniest scraps of patterned paper, so this is a good way to utilise them:-)

Supplies:

Patterned paper- Sassafras, Basic Grey
Stamps- Hero arts, Unity stamps
Brads- Sassafras
Chipboard- Maya Road
Alphas- Cosmo Cricket, Pink Paislee, Little yellow bicycle
Glimmer mist
Martha Stewart butterfly punch

Have a great day!

I am back!

Hi there,
Yes, it's been a month since my last post. It's not that I haven't been crafting, it's just that I haven't had much free time during the day and been crafting late at night and therefore unable to photograph my projects:-(
So today, since it's Sunday, I am going to try my best to photograph as many of my layouts and cards as possible.

And now I am going to share a card I made for a little girls birthday!

I used my Basic Grey mini deck from the Olivia collection and stamped out this candy floss stamp from Hero arts. I love that the pink paper has a slight texture to it:-) Makes the candy floss look more authentic!

I then cut out two frames, one in this dot pattern and one in a dark solid pink. I used a white base card stock and stamped the sentiment and background in black and leafy green ink. After assembling the layers I took some twine and added a bow, and also highlighted parts of the candy floss with my trusty stickles:-)

That's my card for the day, hope you enjoyed!
Hugs!
