Play date cafe challenge : take two

Another submission for the Play Date Cafe challenge this week, love the colour combo so I just couldn't help myself!

I made the focal point a huge Inkadinkado sunflower, love that its detailed and the petals gave lots of room for manipulating it:-) Since the challenge colours were pink grey white and black, I thought I should colour the sunflower in pink!! It looked very pretty in pink. My Copic shading came out really well this time, (If I say so myself:-) he he)..

I took my chance and used the fab Washi tape again ( if you need to know where it can be purchased feel free to ask me would be more than happy to help) and used the black and white stripes this time. I made a border with it to frame the card to help the sentiment stand out.

I used my Prima stamps and stamped the music notes, then used Black soot Distress ink and shaded the corner where the flower would sit. I adhered the flower and stamped additional butterflies and bees, again by Prima.

I lastly stamped the sentiment in grey, this is a Heidi Swapp stamp set.. Its the best alphabet stamp that I own. love love love the mixed letters.. Its the same set I used for my Venice layout for NSD.

Anyways,
Hope you enjoyed my card, and hope you have a fabulous day!
